Extreme Makeover Home Addition came to Ottawa, KS.... only 30 miles from Lawrence. I spent two days volunteering to help build the Hill family a new home. It was an amazing time! Wonderful experience. Met some awesome people!!!

The team built a great family home with wonderful features. Watch for the Kansas Extreme Makeover Home Edition on ABC for the reveal. I met some wonderful volunteers as well as dedicated staff members. Hats off to all of the companies and individuals that contributed to getting this home completed for the Hill family. I had the pleasure of working at the site. Duties preformed, picking up trash, handing out water & Gatorade to workers in the extreme heat. I also assisted with moving items from the truck to the house, organizing the décor, lamps and furniture as well as helped with décor placement in the kitchen, mud room and a very special laundry. |
