Staged Property Comments & Details:
The Ronald McDonald House of San Francisco is a community-supported charity providing temporary lodging and other support services to parents and siblings as they care for their hospitalized child in San Francisco medical facilities.
As the Marin International Association of Home Staging Professional (IAHSP) Regional Chapter President I am proud to announce that our chapter chose the Ronald McDonald House as our Charitable Benefactor for this year's WWSSW project. Along with many sponsors we were able to update and organize the main community room, the play room and the back yard patio, we also made photo memory boards to display pictures and encouraging words of families that had previous stayed at the RMH to give hope to families that are currently staying at the RMH that might be going through similar challenges.
On our day of service I am happy to announce that our chapter team turn out consisted of myself, Linda Pufford, Sheryl Hawes, Lisa Williams, Brona O'Brien, Gina Plummer, and special volunteer Micheal Burdette. Special thanks to our Sponsors, Brook Furniture Rental, Safeway, Scandinavian Design, Personal Preference, Red Hill Towing, Brian's Nursery, and Instant Interiors. All of which this project could not have been possible without all the hard work and support from everyone mentioned. A special thanks to Lois Moore, Executive Director of the RMH of SF.
Here are some of the words Lois Moore said in her monthly Newsletter; "Volunteers, staff and families staying at the RMH could hardly believe their eyes when six members of the Marin Regional Chapter of the International Association of Home Staging Professionals (IAHSP) completed their volunteer day and magic makeover of the RMH. And magic it was...a makeover of the great room, playroom and patio garden was accomplished in one day. But of course these pros had put in days of planning, preparing and securing in kind donations of furniture, plants, pictures and even refreshments for a party celebrating complettion of the project. They put love and concern for our families in every detail."
Thank you Lois Moore, it was an honor and a privilege to be of service to you and the families at the RMH and the community. |
