Staging vs Decorating..what's the difference?
"Home Staging is NOT decorating, fluffing, interior design or redesign. Home Staging is professionally preparing a home for sale, so that it appeals to the largest amount of buyers and generates the highest price in the least amount of time on the market. Staged homes traditionally present better than the competition by being clean, clutter-free and ready to show to prospective buyers. Home Staging is detailing, de-cluttering, de-personalizing and preparing a seller's home to give it a "model home" appearance so that the potential buyer can "see" themselves living in the home." Invest in staging!! Staging Works!!
Staging is an investment in preparing a house for sale. Since all houses and sellers have different needs, there is no "set" amount. For example, some houses are vacant and furniture needs to be rented, others are currently lived in and have an abundance of personal items that can be rearranged and used for staging. We can do as little or as much as you want and will work within your budget. Please call 919-931-6060 for more pricing information.
As an ASP Home Stager and a North Carolina realtor, I stage my listings as part of the personalized service for my clients. I have an excellent track record for quick closings. I recently (Feb 2012) staged two properties for another realtor which closed quickly - 8 days and 5 days.Check the "my staged properties link" for before and after photos.
The investment in staging is less expensive than your first price reduction!
ASP Staging Works!! "Do the math......
Imagine a $300,00 home that's been on the market for six months without selling. The seller is becoming more and more frustrated and considers a price decrease of 5%. That's $15,000.00. Now imaging investing only a fraction of that sum in staging and selling the home much faster." Barb Schwarz
