A must read the "Home Staging book" what a great reference for how to stage your home and it's easy to read! I like the fact that this book was written by the creator of Home Staging, not a decorator or designer. They just don't understand what Staging is!!! Great book!!! I keep it in my office for ideas.

I have all three books and I loan them out, they are all so important in their own way. I love Speaking of Success" so much, I go back and read portions all the time.

Great information coming from all of you at stagedhomes.com. Thank you. I'm interested in hearing comments about how much or how little to integrate "holiday" into real estate staging at this time of year. Thanks!

I have just staged my first vacant house. It turned out fabulous. I chose the rental furniture and had it delivered. All the acessories and pictures I purchased. My question is: How do you organize them for easy placement in rooms? Do I put them in boxes with the name of the room on the box? If you have a method that works please share it with me. Dear Florida Stager- Congrats on your first Vacant home. I am sure it was great. I do vacant properties and have my own accesories. I like to pack items in boxes by articles (vases, books, candles, etc.) which requires me to be creative at each job. Each home needs a different look. Take digital photos. With each vacant property staging job you will gain experience.

Florida Stager - I dont arrange by room and try to purchase items that will work in any room. As far as packing, I love my rubbermaid containers! And...they look fabulous neatly stacked in the closets while the items they usually hold are on display in the house. Not to mention that they are easier to carry and waterproof! Hello Fellow Stagers! As an ASPM that has moved into being a Realtor, I am staging more than ever and loving it! Our real estate office is trying something new and incorporating a staging store into our space. Any good ideas about what to include for clients that wish to stage their own homes? Jules

I just staged my Real Estate sign for the holiday. I ran a pine garland up the post and zip tied plastic gold bells to the garland. It looks really festive. The house is a struggle, vacant, needs painting....I figured if the seller won't do the suggested items, I would at least have my sign look festive. Thanks for the blog, I hope to visit often
