I read all of your Coaching Tips early this morning and every one of them is so important. I really appreciate the thought you put into each of them. The specific details and complete explanations really help to reiterate all of the "gotcha" aspects of owning a small business.
The tip that I have been rolling around in my mind all day today, is tip #9. We really do need to position our businesses, not only as a service but as a solution! That is so huge!
I just updated my online newsletter and have made 50 copies. Your tips have really motivated me and helped me to get my arms around my plans for the week.

I recently completed the Marketing Coaching session with Bill Hickman.
Bill is an excellent coach and kept the session lively and interesting while keeping us focused.
The subject matter was well organized in an outline and then expanded into a roadmap to see exactly out path to success.
I highly recommend this session to all Stagers who have not yet embarked on their marketing program or need to improve their marketing skills.

Hello Barb,
I took advantge of Bill Hickman's Business Plan Coaching sessions and they were most helpful. I retired from the "salt mine" on May 31 and basically took the summer off. Right after Labor Day I will be ready to "get in the game." Bill's sound and logical approach to a business plan was great and he made me think of a lot of things that hadn't even crossed my mind. Now when I do put my feet to the fire, I'll know where and how to begin. Thanks Bill!!!

I just wanted to let you know that I really found the Business Planning Class with Bill Hickman very beneficial. I learned not to be afraid of making a plan, but to organize my thoughts onto paper. I feel with the training and guidance that I received I can go forth and have a very successful business. I also wanted to let you know how inspirational the symposium was for me. It was one of the 3 most important things (right now) I could have done to help my business.
The 2nd thing was signing up for Bill Hickman's Business Plan Coaching. I just finished that track and it was incredible. He has really helped me to get my business plan together and focus on what I need to do to establish and build my business. I am like a 6th year college senior, it takes me a little while to get things going and prioritize what needs to be done. I feel that after Bill's class I am back on track and he was so good at making such a daunting thing be so easy.

Hello Bill:
I just wanted to let you know how motivating your Networking Session was. I have been on a roll since Symposium. I was named our Great Lake Chapter Business Affiliate Ambassador in May. We just held our first Business Affiliate Event. We invited other ASP's in our area as guests to see the benefits of our Great Lakes Regional IAHSP Chapter and to encourage them to join. We invited our current Business Affiliates and other business as potential partners with our chapter and members. The feed back has been incredible!! Cort Furniture also hosted the event, providing the location, food and beverages!!
We had a wonderful time, lots of networking and business volunteering for our IAHSP Foundation Service Day, September 16th. (Oh, and I am now the Service Day Ambassador)
I can tell you that from your breakout session, I learned, You never know who you know!!! There are many more exciting things in the pipeline that I can't share right now. But, I will keep you and Barb posted!
I leave in the morning for the ASPM Training and I can't tell you how excited I am to be on my way to ASPM status!!!
