Customized Staging Summary - This is a summation of what needs to be done in a home to ready it for the market. It is a thorough and detailed dossier prepared for each client explaining exactly what to do in every room. Photos of rooms are included with notes describing areas that need special attention or improvement. The report can be a great tool for realtors to show their clients without hurting feelings or appearing to judge personal taste. This is a one time cost for this service and it can be done quickly and with little inconvenience to the owner.
Staging for Resale - This is the most powerful thing a homeowner can do when putting a home on the market. Setting The Space would come in and rearrange, de-clutter, and improve the areas of a home to maximize the look to appeal to buyers. Having the fresh perspective of the Setting The Space team will help improve problem areas that the homeowner may have grown used to or became accustomed to. Setting The Space in effect becomes the first critical potential buyer. The problems will be alleviated so that when the first real buyer walks through the door they want to buy and out bid all other buyers because they just have to have your house!
Staging Vacant Homes - 92% of potential buyers can not envisualize themselves living in a home when it is shown to them as vacant. They will quickly leave and not buy! The ability of Setting The Space to skillfully, minimally and artfully fill an empty home with the appropriate furnishings, accessories and other items that make a house a home will cause a buyer to pause and picture themself in the space and want to BUY!
Staging for Builders - Setting The Space collaborates with home builders to advance the process of selling an existing home to build a new home. Setting The Space allows the builder to offer a "credit" toward a Customized Staging Summary. This helps the buyer to more quickly (and for more money!) sell their existing home so that the funds can be used toward the new home being built. Because staging helps a house to sell more quickly, there is less chance for buyer's remorse with the new house being built. Setting The Space is proud to be the exclusive Stager for one of the areas largest home builders.

Sue Shockley ASP,IAHSP
Sue joined Setting the Space early in 2008 becoming the company’s third staging specialist. As an already successful and accomplished stager in her own right Sue brought enormous talent and boundless energy to projects. Her appreciation and complete understanding of the need for minimalism tempered with artful style made her a natural addition to the Setting The Space team and she was quickly named the company’s Lead Designer. Along with Will, she helps to stock the warehouse with staging furniture and chooses pieces for individual jobs. Sue also helped to design the showroom and is on the forefront of all of the company’s design jobs. Her organizational skills coupled with her speed and determination put clients at ease. Clients also appreciated her warm thoughtfulness and caring nature as she determines their individual needs in order to accomplish the goal at hand. Sue's quiet resolve to meet challenges intrinsic to staging and design make her a leader in her field. She is an Associated Staging Professional as well as a member of the International Association of Home Staging professionals.
