An essential benefit of having completed the Accredited Staging Professional Course®, and by being an ASP®/ASPM®, is your Featured Page at Stagedhomes.com.

Quite often the ASP Directory is where consumers and REALTORS® start their search for a local Staging professional and it is very likely the first time they learn about you and your business. That’s why it’s absolutely crucial to make sure your presentation is first class, which is how I regard the featured pages by Joan Inglis, ASPM®, and owner of Carolina Spaces, LLC, based in Lake Wylie, SC, Katy Fineman Jones, ASPM®, ASP Trainer, and owner of My English Touch, Ltd. Staging in Columbus, Ohio, and Jan Whitlow, lifetime ASPM® and owner of Selling Edge Home Staging in Largo, Florida.

At her Featured Page, Joan Inglis features information about what an Accredited Staging Professional® Master is, she shares many testimonials that truly highlight the impact of her work and of course information about the services she provides the awards she has received. What I really love the most is the video that’s featured at the page.

While the video is only 49 seconds long, which is important as most website visitors will not watch a too-long movie, it’s highly impactful. In the video, Joan describes her approach to Staging, describing how she will emphasize room function, furniture placement and only use quality furniture. Joan especially mentions in the video that when she Stages a furnished home she will rearrange and even reduce furniture when necessary. While her message is directed to builders, REALTORS and sellers, her Staging concept is targeting the buyer and the needs and expectations of the buyer.

Joan’s video presentation is very effective as it quickly shares the concept of Staging, using many great images to show her prior projects, highlights the way she works, and what the target group can expect when they hire her to Stage a home.

Similarly, Katy Fineman Jones’ featured page showcases not only a clarification of Staging, comparing it against decoration and design, the benefits and features of Home Staging and a description of how she works, but also an impactful video with Katy highlighting how her business can help sellers get more money in a shorter amount of time. I also love how Katy’s page features a slideshow presentation, which showcases lots and lots of before and after pictures. Many of my sayings that speak to the power of Staging, which I have developed over many years, are also included.

Jan Whitlow’s featured page features a great video that in the most professional way showcases her past projects. Even more impactful are the messages in the video that speak to the average time on the market of the properties she has Staged, and other helpful statistics that helps educate those who view her video .

I encourage you to make the leap and make the most of your Featured Page at Stagedhomes.com – in your own way of course. Create a great Featured Page to create the best perception of you when consumers and REALTORS® find you at the ASP Directory.

Making a video is easier than you may think. Stay tuned to the Stagedhomes.com blog for an article series this fall where one of the topics is social media marketing, and how to make the most with video and other multimedia presentations.

Always working for you,
